Brunette Associates receives resumes in confidence from candidates exploring new job opportunities.

We require that all initial contact with candidates be through Brunette Associates. After a client informs us of interest in a particular candidate, we will then contact the candidate directly to advise them of the employer's interest and determine the most appropriate communications channels.

We subscribe to the following standards of ethical search practices.

  • A candidate's employment record, education, qualification and salary requirements will be stated to the client as accurately and as fully as possible.
  • A candidate will be referred to the client for an interview only with prior authorization from the client, which may be given verbally.
  • Confidential information relating to the business policy of clients, which is provided to aid the effective handling of their job requirements, will be treated accordingly.
  • Candidates will not be solicited for other positions while they are still employed by the company with whom they have been placed, unless the candidate initiates reactivation of his/her candidacy.
  • Candidates will not be directly solicited from a client company within one year of the most recent placement with the same client at the same location.
